About Us

Ophthalmology Consultants has two convenient locations to serve you. Our main office is in southwest Fort Wayne, Indiana, at the corner of Jefferson and Engle Roads. Our second location is in northeast Fort Wayne just off I-69, on Dupont Road in the Dupont Medical Center. We offer a spacious and inviting atmosphere for our patients’ utmost comfort. Our state-of-the-art facilities include doctors’ offices, a surgery center and an eyewear showroom.

Appointments

We know how much you value your time, and we take great pride in providing the most efficient service possible. Unexpected emergencies can sometimes disrupt our schedule, so we ask for your patience and understanding. To schedule an appointment, please call 260-436-7205 or toll free at 1-800-442-7205 Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Our receptionist will schedule a time that works best for you and your treatment needs. If an urgent problem occurs, an emergency evaluation may be scheduled as soon as the same day as your call.

When calling for an appointment, please give a brief reason for your examination to allow us to schedule the appropriate amount of time. Please allow ample time for your visit. Complete eye examinations generally require 1-1/2 - 2 hours. If you are sensitive to dilation drops, please arrange for someone to drive you home.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call us as soon as possible, preferably 24 hours in advance, and we will reschedule you. Additionally, if you have a medical emergency during evening or weekend hours, call our office at 260-436-7205 or toll free at 1-800-442-7205 to be seen by the physician on call.
