Zachary Felger, O.D. is originally from rural Allen County outside Churubusco, IN, and graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2020. Before entering optometry school, he graduated from Indiana University-Bloomington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. Dr. Felger completed his externship training at the William Jennings Bryan Dorn V.A. Medical Center in Columbia, SC, the University of Kentucky Advanced Eye Care in Lexington, KY, MyEyeDr. in Winston-Salem, NC, and the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, IL. His training focused on ocular disease, binocular vision, pediatrics, and contact lenses with most of his education and training spent caring for the underserved populations of Chicago and the Chicagoland area.
He divides his time between cataract surgery post-operative care, diabetic eye exams, and comprehensive eye exams.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and being with family and friends.
Dr Felger, & his associates were excellent. He spent a lot of time evaluating me & explained everything I asked! He was very concerned about my eye issue!
