To provide the best possible care, your visit will be very thorough. We kindly request you plan to be at your appointment for 2 hours.

What type of appointment do you offer?

We offer comprehensive routine and medical eye exams. When you call for an appointment, we can help you determine which appointment type you need. Please specify if a contact lens prescription is needed, as a separate contact lens fitting appointment may be required.

Routine Eye Exam

  • Assesses the basic general health of your eyes and may include dilation
  • Provides a prescription for new glasses or contact lenses (please identify if contact lens prescription is also needed)
  • Filed as a routine eye exam with your vision plan

Medical Eye Exam

  • Thorough dilated exam to address medical eye conditions such as: Cataract, Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular Degeneration
  • This type of exam is a detailed medical exam to determine, assess, and recommend any treatment necessary and may include additional testing

Frequently Asked Questions

You will receive an email to register once an appointment has been scheduled. Follow the steps in the email to gain access.
If you cannot find your email invite to register for our patient portal, please call us. We can resend you the patient portal invite to your email on file.

We recommend you arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment. We have streamlined the check-in process. We will collect your information during our initial phone conversation and during your appointment.

  • Your insurance card and photo ID
  • List of medications
  • Eye glasses, and/or eye drops
  • Contact lens prescription or contact lens box

Your eyes will be dilated during your visit, making your vision blurry and your eyes more sensitive to light for several hours. If you are not using public transportation or do not feel comfortable driving yourself, please consider arranging for someone to drive you home.

Our front desk will collect your demographic and insurance information during this call. We offer both medical and routine exams, and we will help you determine which appointment type you need.

We will verify your benefits

Our insurance and billing team will verify your insurance 12 days prior to your appointment to maximize your benefits and let you know of any out-of-pocket costs.
